Introduction to micro trainings with Knowly

Overview

Knowly is a web application that helps corporate trainers enhance the effect of their physical training sessions. We make it possible for the trainer to easily send micro trainings, i.e. reflection questions, review questions and mini-challenges, to both the participants and their managers before, in between and after training events. The micro trainings are sent as a package in a mobile-friendly format via text message or email in order to increase training effectiveness.

The emails and text messages have a link that takes the user directly to the content in the micro-training. No passwords, no clunky systems. Just one click on that link and the participant can access the content that will help them today get the most out of the training.

How it works for the trainer

Initially in Knowly you will answer a couple of questions about your training in the tool, e.g.

• What do you want to achieve: Effective training, what is the purpose, the agenda...?
• How does the training look? Number of events?
• What gap are you mostly trying to fill: knowledge gap, skills gap or a motivation gap?

Based on your answers, Knowly will adjust its guidance to your needs. The tool will propose a structure of micro trainings before, in between and after the trainings sessions.

Distributing the micro trainings

When you have created a new training program and you want to invite a participant group that will attend this upcoming training all you need to to is:

1. Add the participants that will attend the training
2. Choose if you want them to receive emails or text messages
