Before, there's only been one role in Knowly – an administrator that can do everything. For larger organizations, this has made it troublesome to invite their entire teams, since not all members of the team should necessarily be able to see everything from every training.

Therefore, we're now introducing the more limited role Trainer, who can only use Knowly to create and follow up on his or her own trainings.

In this article, we'll cover differences between the two roles, how you manage them in Knowly and what you need to do to activate the roles in your organization.

Role 1: Administrator

Can see and do everything. Important differences to trainers:

Role 2: Trainer

Only has access to his or her own trainings. Important to note:

If you'd like a more fine-grained breakdown of each role, go ahead and download this table, which explains both roles in further detail.

How to get started

  1. Contact us at Knowly to unlock the Trainer role in your organization.
  2. Go to the menu in the upper right and press "Trainers" > "Invite new...". As soon as the person has confirmed his or her account, he or she can now be assigned to new trainings.
